Fish QT question

I don't disagree with you Dmorty217 but simply putting your fish in QT doesn't not align with the same approach as you being a vet for your fish. If someone can link me to a reasonable set up that I can use for my fish once my tank is fully cycled then I am open to suggestions but the information I have found hasn't opened many doors for me on this matter.

what does this mean?

It doesn't?? Not sure how you can have any other position than that. You are the vet when it comes to this period. So you either QT and spend a lifetime in the hobby, or don't QT and you will be like everyone else that doesn't and end up leaving the hobby within a few years because the drain on your bank account won't be worth it. Im assuming you are new to this and this is why you feel the way you do. I mean unless you can name a vet that you can take your fish to, YOU are the only line of defense for disease, not a LFS. You're clearly going to do whatever you want but there is no substitute for QT

this makes sense...

QT is not something u have to do or u can't have a reef tank. A lot ppl don't have the option of QT but u should be very picky about where u buy ur fish. The list u give shouldn't be a problem without QT as long as u get them from a reliable source. Personally I QT all my fish but I have not experienced disease yet because I am super cautious about where I get fish. I have three QT tank with blue and powder brown tang and dwarf angels with no sign of ich. But I still keep them in the QT for 2 months just in case.

Honestly ,if u don't have space for a temporary bucket, this hobby is not for you. 99% of people that say they " can't " just choose not to. Lazy , cheap, whatever. Bathroom, closet, basement. I get it being inconvenient. Couple of weeks you have bucket in the shower or whatever. A select few fish require special DT conditions. Very few. Dips? Few bucks and less than a hr.

Picky about where you get your fish and reliable sources make zero difference with if the fish will come in with a disease or not. Your "reliable, picky" source for fish at the end of the day probably got their fish from Quality Marine and they do nothing but run a UV for disease control, which only prevents total wipe outs, it doesn't prevent fish from carrying disease. What do you consider a "reliable" source for fish? I get some of my fish from the most "reliable" people in the industry but that is no excuse to not QT

Ok so building on all of the Advice I need a 5 gallon bucket, Air Pump, Air Stone, heater. and what else and what medications/treatments

Not sure if you read what I wrote but I am for QT and I did say I QT my fish for extended period of time. I am just giving advice to OP because he couldn't setup a QT. everyone has different difficulties so no need to force others to follow your rule.

Still need my above questions answered, I purchased a 5 gallon bucket an air pump an air stone , heater, and what medicines/treatments do I need?

I would re-read the entire thread as purchasing one each of the above items is proof you didn't comprehend what was written. As far as what to do after that, there are several great threads on RC that wonderfully cover TTM.

This hoby is supposed to be fun, which is why these guys are taking their own time to try and protect you (and your fish) from the inevitable nightmare that awaits those take short cuts. There isn't a person on RC who's tank crashed or fish have been wiped out that doesn't wish they could go back in time amend their short cuts. You asking these questions is a good sign you want to do thing right.

My approach to reefing has been to spend all my time any money on my "foundation, walls and roof" rather than my "dishes, furniture and carpet". With the best foundation, all the other things can happen over the years. With the improper foundation you will be out of the hoby in no time at all.

Doing your own reading and research gives you such a better grasp of the complexities of a managed ecosystem than just asking questions and hoping for an aswer you want. I'll admit most of the time I ask questions on here I'm hoping someone will validate something I know deep down is wrong.

Best of luck and I hope you know we all are rooting for your success.

I read what you wrote, the first two sentences of what I quoted above is what I'm disagreeing with.
