Fish question

The tank I care for is 560 gallons and is in an environment with a lot of people coming through and kids wanting to touch things. Those of you who have followed my other posts know that this tank is a unique challenge, and most recently was over run with Aiptasia of which I introduced 12 peppermint shrimp and a file fish. That approach is working quite well given the size and amount of Aiptasia. There are 3 fish in the tank, 2 mated clowns, and the File fish. My LFS has a person who comes in and looks over the tank once a week to help us make sure its healthy. Well the person saw the File Fish just hanging out in the rocks and told me that it's lonely and needs a friend. Is this true or is he just trying to sell me more fish?

Well honest it could be somewhat true. I have heard fish that are by themselves are more scare to swim around, kind of wondering where is everyone else. He could be not use to people yet. Agreed, you need more fish in a 560. If you don't want no more fish, we can trade tanks. LOL.

Second the idea of some sort of dither fish to make the file feel more at ease. A school of green chromis could work out well.

If I thought I could get away with it, the tank would be yours. Frankly it's a huge headache to care for with hundreds of hands reaching into the tank each week, it's been nothing but one crisis after another.
