Fish question

Mono's are one of the first fish we used to keep when the salt water hobby started. I had quite a few of them along with Scats, another brackish water fish.
Mono's will live in a salt tank, the problem is they get kind of huge and can cause problems. You can't even kill them and are more robust than clownfish.
They will eat anything and disturb everything in the tank. I really do not like them in a reef tank which is probably the reason no one keeps them any longer. But new tanks in the early 70s all had them.

They do school, especially with young group, in a larger reef tank which is kind of neat, but like Paul said, they are problematic in a reef tank.
