Fish rebounding from stress

Today I walked into my LFS and saw that 3 fish were dead . The owner told was upset and told me his fan failed lastnight. Now my question is obv the other fish got stressed out as well , so is it ok to purchase fish from him in the near future or should i just purchase online ?? thanks

I wouldn't chance it unless you quarantine and he is willing to give you a warranty period on any fish purchased.

i'd give them 4 or 5 days-probably a week.. the move will stress them again.
