Hi Everyone,

I finally got my nitrates/phosphate under control. I currently have a 220 Gallon fish/reef tanks with about 350 lbs of rocks.

I just wanted see if someone can help me with my next fish recommendation.

I currently have

1 longhorn cow fish
1 yellow tank
2 clown fish (paired)
4 blue chromis (damsel)
2 domino damsel
1 black/white 3 strip damsel
1 mandarin fish

Do I have room for another fish? I got my tank nitrate and phosphate from about 20 ppm to right below 5 recently. Thinking about another fish.
Can anyone make a recommendation of a fish that would be compatible with this tank that's kind of cool. This will be interesting for me to see what other fishes out there that people loves.

Definitely possible. You would have to choose something that can handle itself with that bunch of damsels though.

Marine bettas are pretty. If your fish are large enough to not be eaten, a betta could be an awesome addition!

A group of dwarf angels (flame, coral beauties, etc...), an individual large angel (majestic, blue face, annularis, etc...), or a pair/trio of genicanthus angels (lamarck, bellus, watanabei) is possible if you don't mind the occasional nipping at coral (the genicanthus won't nip).

You can look into some fairy wrasses or halichoeres wrasses as well.

A foxface might get some sass from your tang, but it will adjust over time. The magnificent foxface is a true unique beauty.

Those are just some suggestions. You have a large tank so you should be fine with another addition or more.

Thanks everyone.....I've narrowed it down to the coral beauty or a fairy wrasse!

??Yellow tank? The sump? It's only 30 gallon.

I'd look into a springer damsel. There semi-peaceful damsels and are very pretty. (better than damsels.)

Marine Bettas (Calloplesiops altivelis) don't eat fish, only shrimp. I've had plenty of them, also with smaller fish, and they never ate any fish, not even frozen feeder fish (my clownfish on the other hand liked those very much).

I'd get those damsels out of there... you'll have a much greater ability to add other types of fish that way. Those little devils are just evil.
