I went to their meeting last month and they happened to be auctioning off some black perculas from thier breeder award program.

I won a bag of 4 of them for only $10. They are living in my refugium until I find a permantent home for them.

They are a very friendly group, it's too bad they don't do more saltwater stuff.

I also just noticed that the topic for their April 10th meeting is "Setting up a Saltwater tank".

That might be a good one for a few GIRS representatives to attend.

yeah they have there meetings on tuesdays but many of there members are in the cedar rapids area

The speaker will be Bill Boll, owner/operator of the Fish Shack in Manchester, IA.

We would love to have GIRS members visit the club. If they have any literature on their club, have them bring it to the
April 10th meeting (info on meetings, membership, etc.).

Do you think any of them would be interested in showing an
aquarium at the EIAA Tropical Fish Show on Easter Weekend?
