fish size accuracy

Hello, I've been thinking about ordering a pair of clownfish from your Diver's Den selection, and just wanted to know how accurate your size descriptions are, compared to what is listed? Are the fish actually measured, or is it an estimate, to try and get within a few percent of their actual size? Also, I've noticed some fish that have been listed for a while go "on sale" whereas some appear to stay much longer, but without a price change, is that because some fish are more rare, or what determines when a listed item is reduced? Thanks!

Heterodonut,

Thank you for your inquiry. The Diver’s Den selection is WYSIWYG; therefore, we need to be very accurate in the information listed. We do measure each fish offered through Diver’s Den to get the listed size. The measurements will include the tail of the fish.

Regarding your question on sale prices, there are many factors that are looked at when we decide to offer reduced pricing for the rare beauties located in our Diver’s Den section. If we can be of additional assistance, please contact our LiveAquaria Department at 1-800-334-3699, via email at CustomerService@LiveAquaria.com, or PM us.
