I finally started construction on the tank today. I got a lot done as well. Anyways the tank will hopefully have water in it within the next two weeks. So I guess it is time to start considering a stocking list for the tank. I really need to set a pretty firm stocking list because I have been known to make impulsive purchases in the past. The tank is a 125 gallon DT with a 55 gallon sump. Aquamaxx EM200. I may upgrade to the 300. Anyways I want this tank to be a mixed reef. I love the fish in the tank. I think a well thought out and balanced fish selection really makes a tank. Some really enjoy the corals and I like corals as well but fish can really make the tank I think. I am not really set on any species. Here is something along the lines of what I want.
Pair of clowns. Probably ocellaris.
A tang or Two. either maybe one of the nice and more aggressive species PBT or purple tang. Or perhaps two and have maybe a yellow tang and a bristletooth species.
Schooling fish. Would love some anthias. Maybe a trio. Recommendations?
Dwarf angel (can't decide on this one. Really do not want to worry about it eating any LPS I will have in the tank)
Gotta have a wrasse of some sort. Recommendations?
Royal Gramma
Blue Jaw trigger. I love these guys had one previously but it jumped out of my tank
probably a goby, blenny, or hawkfish. Recommendations?
And possibly a butterfly if there are any you all would consider reef safe enough.
Basically I am open to anything and just looking for a rough list to start thinking about and tossing around in my head
