Fish stocking plan, corresponding tank size?

I'm looking to upgrade my current 60g to a much larger aquarium. My stock list is planned, the question is now, what size aquarium will be good for the fish to thrive in?

Stock list:

1- flame angel
1- mystery wrasse
2- blood red shrimp
2- cleaner shrimp
5- blue/green chromis
3- yellow tang
1- purple tang
1- Achilles tang

I suppose the Achilles tang would be the limiting factor in terms of minimum size? What would y'all suggest?

Reef Central suggests a minimum 6' tank for the Achilles. I am skeptical, however, that a 6' tank would be sufficient for 4 Zebrasoma tangs. It might work if they are all introduced early and at the same time.

180g at the absolute minimum. So if that's a stretch for you then don't get the Achilles

Get the largest one that your space/budget/wife allows. Then you will upgrade that in a few years anyway

Ditch the 3 yellows and I would say you could squeak by with a 4 ft tank; otherwise get a 6ft tank.

Well I was actually thinking about going for an aquarium that's 180cm (6ft) long, 90cm wide (3ft), and 60cm deep (2ft) + plumbing in my current 60g and use it as a fuge

I agree. It might work in the very short run but as their territorial imperative expands as they mature, it would be problematic.
