Fish stocking recommendation please

My goal is to have a peaceful mixed reef tank. I am having really hard time finding and choosing fishes. Everything I search is either aggressive, non-coral friendly, venomous, etc. For example, I like the Jawfish, but it needs at least 4" of sand (mine 1"-2"), Belennies will nipple on Firfish and Gobbies, and Dottyback will eat shrimp.

The fish I know for sure are good are the Clowns and the Tangs, but I am going to add them last.

I'd like QT then add to DT in patches.

What do you guys recommend for first inhabitants in a brand new tank?

Ecsenius sp. blennies are peaceful and don't harass other fish. Basslets, most fairy wrasses, flasher wrasses, and foxfaces are peaceful and easy to keep. Tangs can be territorial and aggressive and should be added last in most cases.

Firefish, dartfish, cardinals, anthias, fairy and flasher wrasses all fit the bill of peaceful, reef safe, colorful and active.

If you let me know a tank size I can let you know some good choices also what types of corals help because some fish are prone to only nip at clam mantles and clean up crew shrimp, I put a coris wrasse because he's one of my favorites shares the 120 with a melanarus wrasse. Coris eats the hermits but I don't care much, some triggers are reef safe like blue throats, flame angel. Agree with blennies not being aggressive they pick a spot and hide until food comes out just like my firefish. Others have suggested good choices
