First, hello to everyone! I am new to this forum, I have a 56g column reef tank, 20g sump w/chaeto refuge, plenty of live rock, mixed LPS & SPS, Reef Octopus NW-110 skimmer.
The 56g was a recent upgrade from a 28g nano. I currently have 5 fish, but with all of this extra swim room I am thinking about adding a sixth and final fish, but I'm having some trouble deciding what to add...
Current Stock:
Yellow Watchman Goby, 2"
Black Ocellaris, 3" definately female
Royal Gramma, 3" I would call him "passive aggressive" but no serious conflicts
Yellow-Lined Cardinalfish, 2"
H. Melanerus Wrasse, 3"
Red Carribean Pistol Shrimp, not paired with goby
Thoughts are:
Small extreme misbar black ocellaris, hopefully male... any thoughts on pairing?
Another wrasse... I was thinking if it was a different colored wrasse, maybe H. chrysus "Canary Wrasse" or Halichoeres iridis "Radiant Wrasse"? Anyone with experience with wrasse compatibility?
Maybe Anthia(s), but I wasn't planning on adding more than one...MAYBE two if it was necessary to have a pair. Anthias, from what I've read, are not super competitive feeders and our other fish are not shy at feeding time.
And... here come the sirens.... Kole Tang? Tank not long enough right? My lfs says 55g min, but since this is a column, the lateral space is much less.
Any feedback or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Last, some pics for good measure
