Hey all, I stopped into Jofish to get some fish food and they had some of the nicest Anthias and lots of them. Probably 20 in total plus a lot of differant fish. It was a nice suprise. Nice to see them stepping it up.
Grant, you should rent the frag tanks from joefish, and do it up. You could make some extra coin, joefish would make more money and get more customers in there buying aquarium supplies. It would be a win for everyone. I think there is totally a demand for corals in Petaluma. The funny thing about us reefers, is that we'll travel to get cool stuff. If you build it they will come...
Aaaaaaah no! I dont think people are that interested in the acros around our area or they are not able to keep them. Hell, I recently posted free acros and had next to no interest. Go figure......
I guess you're right... Not a huge demand for acros, maybe because of their degree of difficulty. It's a shame to see all of those tanks not being used to their potential.
John's right, theRC wine country reefers forum is not the easiest to find especially to a new reef keeper. In fact is RC isn't even my favorite forum. If we had our own like BAR we probably have more people.
If we had a web page that would might with google searches and such. It doesn't have to have all the forum functionality, it could just link to RC. Seems like the club funds would cover the $12/year hosting fees from GoDaddy or wherever. Just a thought.
