fish store but not a fish store

I found a fish store that is not a pet store but it has some red algea in there tanks, is it ok to buy fish from them.

here are some pictures of the place. Do you think it is safe to buy fish from.

that kind of reminds me of this pet store here. they have the dirtiest looking tanks, but their fish always survied, and were healthy. too bad they dont have SW stuff. if they look healthy i would by from them. from the looks of that one pic with the tank that has the cyano along the sand, their DSB isnt working properly. i see a black streak of sand along the bottom. the cyano is probably feeding on the nitrates from the DSB.

but that is still ok to buy the fish they wont bring that stuff into my tank will they

they seem like they are ok, their tanks arn't all that bad, as long as the fish look healthy i would say go for it

if the fish you want seems to have a red velvet dress on, tell them to wash it off as long as your water parameters are good, you will be fine.
