Fish Store in Section, AL

Anybody know anything about a new fish store in Section AL?

I was in there several weeks ago, the guy had a few fresh water tanks set up and 2 salt water about 3 corals in the store. I called him when I was looking for my 75 a week or so ago and he never returned my call with a price. Apparently he has the store in the afternoon very limited hours like 4-7 and does office tank maintenance during the day.

i was in there a couple of weeks ago. he isn't going to carry a whole lot of salt water stuff at this time; but if you wanted something in particular he would do an order--if high $ he wants you to pay something down. he had several damsels and some other 'cheap fish' and some coral pieces that he got in a trade that he has decently priced.

he seems pretty knowledgeable, but i have learned you have to do your own research...he said that he uses tap water for his salt water aquariums and doesn't recommend ro/di.

if you are in the area it might be worth a stop but i wouldn't make a special trip without calling if you are looking for something in particular. i believe he said that he gets shipments in on friday or saturdays.

i will try to get you his # this week. the store is only about 3 miles from my boyfriends house. he does have limited supllies but he said he could do special orders. right now he is mainly dealing freshwater with 2 or 3 sw tanks.

Thanks, My hubby works in Scottsboro so he is in close. With so many shops closing we are always looking for another source.

His name is Rick Wilborn.This is his phone #. 599-9325.He has a job during the morning and the fish store in the evenings.His daughter was helping him ,but she went back to college.Thats why he had to change his hours.I just talked to him and he said if anyone needed anything to call.

i know what you mean about stores closing....we really need to support the lfs as much as we can...i really like to see my livestock before buying and you can't do that online. he seemed really nice when i was in there and he is a talker i think i was in there a good 30 minutes and that's a long time when you have a 6 month old and 2 yr old with you. I will definitely go back
