Fish suggestions...

Hi all, I just recently lost one of my fish in my 65g tank and I'm now thinking about what fish I should get now. Right now I have a Blue tang, lyretail anthias, 5 blue green chromis, firefish, sixline wrasse, royal gramma, and bar goby. It has been set up for over a year, and this is my first fish loss in over a year also...It was a mandarin who I lost, but idk if I want another mandarin...I'm looking for something probably small, colorful, eye catching, and possibly algae control. Do I have room for a longnose butterfly? Those have always been one of my favorites. other suggestions? I have plenty of swimming space in the tank because the royal gramma, bar goby, firefish, & sixline wrasse all stay near or in the rocks.

Could I even get a small Niger trigger in there? or would it harm my smaller fish (i.e. sixline, firefish, gramma)

Mandarin's should only be put in established aquariums... They need a thriving copepod population in order to survive... If you're wanting a reef tank, I wouldn't put a trigger in there...

6-line wrasses and mandarins are not compatible - good choice not replacing him - if the 6-line doesn't kill a mandarin outright - he will at least decimate the pod population

I think you could squeeze something small in there like a yellow watchman goby or a bicolor or midas blenny:) Though I'm not sure what a bar goby is - so don't know if they'd be compatible
I can't think of any fish that would actually put a dent in algae other than a kole tang or other small bristletooth, but that would probbably put you in the overstocked zone and attract the tang police

I notice you don't have any angels, why not a cherub?
