Fish Trap Help

I have a small Blue Tang that needs to get transferred to a new home. Problem is that I can't get him out of my tank. Does anyone in the area have the Aqua Medic Fish Trap or something similar that I can borrow for a day or so?

Depending on the size of the fish I have a small sea side aquatics fish trap.

He's a small blue tang I'd say 2.5-3" at most. Do you think he would fit?

Might be cutting it close the trap is only 5"x4"x4" but the opening is only 3"x3.5"

I've used the 2 liter soda container method and with some patience....it works.

Sure you can try it out. If you leave me a $35 deposit you can borrow it. I'm in lindenhurst I don't think commack is terribly far.

If he wont go in the trap, go to your local bait and tackle or Walmart and get the smallest hook you can find. File the barb off and put a piece of mysis on the hook. I've removed many fish this way.

He had no interest in the trap. I ended up taking all of the rock out yesterday morning and catching him. Four hours later my tank was up and running. Looks a little different now but my 2 clowns and corals seem to be ok. Just the skimmer is acting a little strange. Sure learned my lesson the hard way. The end...
