Fish Trap.

Hey guys.
I pleased the wife last week and got her a flame angel, and lest just say... big mistake. He is a nasty nasty sps nipper. Anyways, does anyone have a fish trap i can borrow? If i order one, it will take about 4 to 5 days ( Marine Dep one) to get here. I dont know if i can wait that long with this guy. Im about to shoot him!!!
 
I've caught multiple fish just using some fishing line and a size 12 hook. As soon as he grabs just pull the line up and try and have someone net him. Fish trap is better, but 4-5 days to wait is a lot of nipping. Good luck!

Lmao.. i have a feeling i will destroy my tank if i do this. I have terrible fishtank luck.
 
I'm using mine right now. But should be able to catch the last two fish tomorrow. You can borrow it then? The line and hook work great. just make sure he's the one to bite and not any other fish.

Might have to go to Walmart and get some hooks and fishing line in the meantime

I have had bad luck with them. This is the second one i have had and both were nippers. This one is far worse though. He is really going at it. Funny i feed 3 times a day , so he has plenty of food.
 
I got rid of my flame for this reason. Sad to see him go was one of my nicest fish and was my wifes favorite. He was a model citizen and after my crash I got a lot of recession and algae growing on exposed SPS areas. I think that trained him to pic. I really miss him though and have considered trying again, but catching him was a PITA!! Smart bugger. I used a fish trap and it took him like 3 days to finally go in. GL!
