fish traps? what kind & where get

howdy
although i am sure there are lots of places that would like to take your money... i can give you a very cheap simple solution that works very well...
or did for me atleast (might not work same for you though???)
in catching 3 feisty blue damsels which were terrorizing my peaceful reef tank and disrupting the harmony of the viewees involved.
take a plastic soda bottle (3L or whatever size you choose)
cut the screw top off (part where the lid screws into)
creating an opening at the top of the bottle... create the opening BIG ENOUGH for the fish you are trying to catch... but not too big where it might be able to get out once it gets in
then take and cut the entire top section of the jug off
that is cut the top rounded section off the bottle (basically the top 1/3 or so of the bottle... the top 1/3 where the hole is you just cut out)
then turn that piece around and slide it into the main bottle piece
should fit snug and basically look like you 'reversed' a pop bottle w/ the opening looking like it is going into the bottle
so if the bottle was sitting upright flat on the counter
w/ the cut off piece turned around and placed inside it correctly... then it should look like a bottle w/ a bowl sitting on the top...
then just put some food in it place it in the tank and see what you can catch... might take a lil while before you get your desired target and you might catch a few others in the process... but this is simple and easy/effective technique to get a fish out...
again dont know if it will work for what you are trying to catch but it was recom to me by a LFS... in the process of catching the 3damsels i managed to catch every one of the chromis i had in the tank also... and i got all 3 damsels out of the tank in less then an hour
