ok this is what I am worried abot, I have mandarin gobies in my well established fish tank. they eat well, are very happy fish. the problem is now that I am upgrading to a bigger tank it will not be as good as my tank that they are in now. I plan on moving all my live rock into the new tank . also building a refuge in my sump. I am afraid of these guys starving to death. should I leave them in my old tank for a few months until my new one has enought time to get alot of pods??

I would think a supstanial amount of pods would make the move on the rocks, etc. If you could make a little "off-limits" are for them to hide in (little rock pile) that no other fish could get into that may help till your sump is up.
