I stopped by there today on my way home from Shoprite on Concorde pike.

The have a bunch of stuff they are getting rid of at ok prices. I saw a sump with bioball for like 75.00, bulkheads for 5.00, left over 10 gallon tanks, filter pads for $3-$4.

What do you guys think of this store?

They opened a store in Lewes DE, for about four months, the tanks looked great...for about a week. It's closed now. Probably a good thing. My .02

not a fan myself... I stopped by the fishman on 202 last week since I was driving by anyway(I dont stop there otherwise)... they did have quite a bit of used stuff, some at fair prices. Generally tho I think fishman is a rip off, drygoods are way overpriced, livestock is hit and miss.... as has been mentioned, DE is pretty weak on LFSs right now...my .02 as well...

I've sworn off Fishman's. Every time I go in there, I come out empty handed and feeling like I just wasted the time spent there.

I have not noticed used equipment, but then I'm not exactly skilled in the observation category; at least according to my wife. That might draw me back - just to check it out.

You're up to 0.06 , now.

I used to think the place was awesome. Of course back then I did not know what the letters LR meant.(let alone crappy LFS) I don't think any dry goods prices could compare with Pet Safari in Lewes though.
It will be a long time before a decent store shows up in Delaware though. The state is lacking, but it's so small it's just a stones throw away from some great stores like That Fish Place for dry goods or Dr. Mac's for corals and live stock. I have not yet been north of Wilmington or around Philli and a new shop is on it's way.(or a new one rebuilt.)
