Fishless sps system

I'm qting all of my fish from an ich outbreak and now my tank is fallow. Good news really because its sps only. I know my nitrates will plummet, phos is already 0, but will nitrates at 0 really be desirable. I will lose color surely.

even with my nitrates at 5 (i was overstocked) I've had some great growth on my pulchra, and purple plasma especially. Everything else is doing very well.

I know my tank struggled as a ULNS system when inonly had 1 fish. It can be done, if course, but I would ghost feed.

That's what my main question is. I planned on ghost feeding but how much. to keep my nitrate around 1ppm
