fishroom

Well it looks like I will finally have heat back in the fish room and I can begin to set stuff back up. The first order of business will to move the tanks from the house back out to the Fishroom or shop as I call it.
Once they are moved out and setup I will begin to set up the 300DD, Iam leaning toward going with a macroalgaes, softie type tank, some LPS.
Eventually all salt tanks and freshwater will out there, AS well as a couple couches, kegerator:beer: and flat screen.
Then I will be able to watch the Giants play and play with the fishes all at the same time.
After the shop is setup, I will host a St.James of reefdom frag meet:celeb1:

Hey Jim, It's been a long time since I've chatted with you on RC, or made my way down to your place. I was out of the hobby for about 2 years or so, but now have a 5gal tank set up for Blake (my girlfriends son) that I'm hoping to stock with many many mushrooms, and maybe a few choice LPS later down the road. I've been thinking of making a trip some weekend with Blake to give him a taste of what a real reef can/should look like.

Also, just the other day I was daydreaming about the seafood bisque from the last swap that I made it to. MMMMMMmmmmmm..........

Let me know if a quick visit would work out for you sometime. Usually every other weekend I'm free to make a trip with just me and Blake.....and possibly his mom too :)

Thanks Jim

Well everything went off without a hitch so the shop now has heat and tomorrow the work begins to start getting things in order to move the tanks out to the shop. We are bringing the heat up slowly to allow the glass and silicone in tanks being stored in the shop right now don't have a problem when it comes to adding water to them.
After some discussion with George we are going to shoot for a meet in March mid to late, complete with St James chili and famous seafood food bisque.
I will keep you all in the loop, maybe include pics as we progress up to the meet or just let you be surprised when you get here.
Till later
Cheers!

The layout for the tanks is all decided now we to commence getting them in their places.
On the 18th of March we will be moving the 300DD into its place .
George and I cant do it alone so we need a few guys to help any volunteers would be greatly appreciated. This tank is wicked heavy.. let me know so I can plan on how many show up.. Many hands make light work, it will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hey all...

We have 4 solid volunteers to help move the 300. Just to clarify we only moving it about 5 feet or so, to place on a plateform to elevate it 6". So we could use 2 or 3 more people to help...I'll supply the beer!!!

Thanks in advance.................. :)
