Fixing to buy new bulbs, any Suggestions

I need some new 250 watt double ended metal hailde bulbs, where do you guys get yours at, any suggestions????

I ordered these last month. They arrived on time and well packaged. I also called them before i ordered and customer service seems good.

I say Phoenix. I just google and find somebody that has them on sale and free shipping on bulbs. I cant recall where I ordered my from last

I would also recommend Phoenix bulbs although I have been very happy with my very inexpensive Chinese MH SE bulbs I got from eBay. They are holding their colors and intensity very well so far.

I also bought some cheap-o Plusrite bulbs off ebay for $20. I like them much better than the XMs I was running before.

I know where Im getting my bulbs from next. EBAY Im glad to hear good feedback for them. I was scared to try them. Who was the seller?

I got mine from hobbylighting. 250W 14K MH bulb was $9.99 ea. They are supposedly out of Canada and therefore shipping was somewhat high (almost $20.) You can probably get the same Chinese bulbs from another US source and pay less shipping.

I have been using them since first week of June. Still going strong. Have 3 running and can't see any difference in spectrum or intensity.

I used them for about a yr & a half. They were ok/ they did look good however not all bulbs are to the same specs. I switched back to Phoenix 14k Hqis & I won't go back to the eBay bulbs xcept maybe for a grow out but def not on my display. I got my bulbs from SOS & they were 50.00 for Phoenix.

I've had good luck with Plusrite bulbs off ebay also. They were around 20 bucks a bulb I think.. Pretty tough to beat for the price.

Just purchased Hamilton 400W rfom reefgeek and they were $50 cheaper than most places.
