flake food for tang?

A quality Flake like Formula 1/2 or Omega 1 (I prefer the mix with garlic) is fine, but you should really try to get them onto a quality pellet like NLS (I prefer Ther-A+).

I purchased a yellow tang in petco of all places. He did not like algea and started eating prime reef flakes. Transitioned him to formula two flakes. Also I have a blonde naso and blue tang they both eat prime reef flakes but they also love the algea.

I have a Tomini is my QT that I got 1 week ago. He is eating Mysis, Spirulina, and I tried just the free IO Marine Chips I have for the heck of it, and he loved them. I guess i will go get so high quality flack and see if he eats that also.

I would recommend feeding flakes for sure, along with other food. Certainly dont feed just nori, give them a nice varied mixed diet and you'll really see their colors and their health pop.

my tang goes nuts for new life spectrum pellets and omega one algae wafers. he grabs them away from the hermit crabs it's quite fun to watch lol.

I;ve tried both and all my tangs eat both...i find they eat the flakes a lot quicker and sometimes the seaweed will just collect on the gravel
