FLame angel and coral beauty angel...

I had bought a pair of fish....another blue tang and a flame angel.....When i brought them back home.....i put the blue tang in and he/she did fine with my smaller dori already in the tank now making two dori's.....

and for the flame when i put he/she in it was okay for 10 minutes but then my resident coral beauty whom was a little bigger than the flame cam and literally was ripping the flame apart....I had to forcefully catch the flame and put him in my 24 gallon nano with a small maroon.....

Thankfully he is alive and okay now....But i really wanted him inside my 125 gallon reef....Is it possible that if i take out the coral beauty if ever i get him out of the rocks and transfer him to the nano and transfer my flame back to the 125 gallon .....

well it be possible that the flame would then establish some territory until i put back the coral beauty....(lets say about a week or so of territory establishing.....)

please help...

If you are doing two pygmy angels it's almost always best to add the smaller one first. I'd give it a month. Let the flame feel at home before adding the coral beauty. FWIW I've done that exact combo (with a C. argi to boot!) in an 80 gallon tank.

Good luck.

In the future territories can be hindered by rearanging the aqua-scape and there hiding spots, kinda tears down what they've been protecting basically. Not a solves all but can help.
