Hi all. I never have a flame angel. I just consider he is reef safe before get one. I have many soft coral, mushroom,.... Thanks

not usually but some people have had good luck. I would try to buy one from someone who has it in a corals like yours, but fish act different in different tanks.
goodluck

I don't have personal experience. I've seen them in reef tanks and have contemplated it myself. What most have reported is that each fish is a crap shoot. In fact some reported they had one not nip on corals for months and then start nipping all of the sudden.
It seems that most report that they nip at corals occasionally and many have said they nip at clam mantles. Personally if I was going to add one I would only do it with a larger well established reef with many corals and even then I would be prepared to have to trap him if he started nipping.

I have one in my 240 with sps, lps, leathers, zoos and 3 clams and luckily have never had any problem at all with it. Have had it for about 4 yrs. now.

I would never put one of those in my tanks even though it's a gorgeous fish. You might find some well behaved ones but I think that is the exception vs the rule.

Mine was a well behave citizen for 2yrs and then he flipped over the dark side and took care of a derasa and a torch colony, stay away from them imo.
