Flame Angel nipping on corals

I need a little help. Since I put a Tang into the tank, the Flame Angel is picking up some of the bad habits. The 3 months I had flame angel, it never nip on any of my corals before. Since the tang started eating the algae, I notice the angel is starting to do the same..but not just algae, it touched my acan today.

Any method to undo the habit or do i have to put him up for adoption?

flakes and pellet. 2X daily

I'd only feed those occasionally, and make sure they are very good quality.

I'd add PE mysis, spirulina enriched brine, cyclops, frozen blends for omnivores, and pygmy angel formula to the rotation:

Also get some seaweed sheets, especially for your tang. And while he's ripping at it, the angel will probably get the floating bits left behind.

And soak foods in Selcon, or Zoe/Zoecon a few times per week. A shot glass works great for this.

If possible, feed smaller amounts 3 times a day.

If his behavior doesn't change in a couple of weeks, then I might think about relocating him.

Thats what angels do they are not 100% reefsafe........ Not much you can do you either put up with it or you get rid of it.......

I had my Flame for over three years and it just started nipping corals one day. First it was just Xenia. I would nip it so bad that it would just stay closed and melt away. Later it was my green zoas (only green ones). I pulled him out and other corals have started to look better. My friend has one and claims he bothers nothing. I even tried to feed more, but it didn't matter. You'll probably have to choose between the angel or the coral.
