Flame angel with Ich

I just picked up a nice, fat flame angel 3 days ago and he is currently in the quarantine tank with a new melanurus wrasse. Both are healthy, active, and eating like champs, but I think I am seeing the beginning of some ich on the angel. I have read that the dwarf angels do not do well with copper treatments, so I was wondering what advice you might have to help him fight this off quickly.

Many thanks,
rad

Well, since you are not comfortable with copper and the flame angel, there are only other 2 methods to treat ich, hypo or tank transfer. Both of these methods are well documented in this forum.

Hyposalinity is usually my first choice. If you have 2 tanks to use, the transfer method works quite well, just a bit more labor intensive. As for copper, SeaChem's Cupramine does work well with copper sensitive species like angels.
