flame angel

Has anyone ever had a flame angel in a reef tank. If so, how did it behave, did it pick at any corals. I am going to set-up a new tank (90gal) and would like to add a flame angel.

I do... in a 180gal. He does not seem to bother the corals but my list of inhabitants is small as I am just taking my time setting the tank up.

Tank mates include the following

Corals
- Green BT Anemone
- Green Montipora
- Orange Ricordia
- Zoo's
- Lots of different Mushrooms
- Large Cabbage leather

Fish and Other
- Maroon Gold Banded Clown... loves her BT
- pair of Blue Green Chomis
- Mandarin
- Flame Angel
- Sailfin Tang
- SS Starfish
- Flame Scallop
- hundred+ mix hermits and snails... different types

Some folks have had great luck with flames and some have had problems.

I had one that was great.

And I also had a flame angel that was a nipper. Clams, SPS, LPS. Had to remove it.

So monitor the fish to see. Sometimes you get a bad one.

My flame has been with me for 18 months. He/she has never picked at any coral. I have a mix of SPS, LPS, Softies, and zoas. He does seem to pick at the LR from time to time. Also, he has never pick of any other live stock (clown, tang, shrimp, crabs, snails ect).
