Flame Angels that nip

for those of you who have/had flame angels that nipped corals, was there one thing they did eat in particular and anything they did leave alone? I'm looking to transfer most of my corals to another tank and turn my 90g into a FOWafewcoralsLR. SPS will all go as most fleshy LPS. I'd prolly leave my large chalice, torches, hammer, and frogspawn and add a few BTAs to the tank.

I believe most people say they go for fleshy LPS like blastos and acans, zoas, and SPS polyps.

My female flame nips on birdsnest, but does not touch lps. On the nipping it doesn't kill it just picks on it, and since birdsnest grows so fast you never notice any damage.

I have a flame and a potters. They both killed a couple of open brain corals, but left all other LPS and SPS alone. I had some retraction issues with my clams that I believe was them, though I never witnessed any nipping. Removed the clams to my refugium, where they recovered. Subsequently put them back in the display and so far no recurrence of the problem.

Fish that are algae grazers often nip because there inadequate algae and they are going for the zooxanthellae found in corals.
