flame hawk with spots

JELWYOMING
I have a flame hawkfish in my 120g reef. He's been in there for about 2 months with a mixture of other passive reef fish. None of the fish are acting ill. All are hungry and active. I notice the other day when my PH probe failed and my Ph went a bit high the hawk fish has some opaque, nearly white blotches (3-4) largely on his rear tail fin. I have been doing water changes, adding some slime coat builder and some Kordon Ich Prevention (the whole routine). The Hawkfish acts very healthy a week later. The spots seem to fade and then come back depending on the time of day. I was afraid that this was ich to start, but now it appears to be more a loss of pigmentation or spots due to some phyical njury. I had a rock avalache about the same time as the probe went out. Any ideas?

more meaty food?

more meaty food?

After some research tonigh, it appears that my flame hawks condition may be to not enough of the right food. Can anyone comment on this?

Any ideas? I am gong to put him in QT soon, if I can catch him. Not sure what to treat him with or if I should just let him be. The spots are not getting any worse. He acts fine too. Weird!!

They are staying the same size. They are more opague or near clear compared to white. I am beginning to think that one of the other fish may have been rough with him. No new ones either. I tried to get a picture, but they either don't show or he moves to fast and blurs the picture.

it could be a slight bacterial infection.. to keep the water quality as high as possible and see what happens..
