flame scallop and bristle starfish

I have read that starfish are prone to eating scallops. I was wondering if anybody knows if this is true for all stars or just the ones that are not reef safe. My bristle star spends all of his time in my live rock so im not sure if he will come to feed on a scallop.

the brittle stars will not eat scallops in my experience but some have been reported to eat featherduster worms

my brittle star doesn't seem to bother my feather dusters or my scallop and I have had them for quite some time.
