Flame tip RBTA

I picked this guy up at my lfs last week. I dont usually like BTA's but had never seen one like this and it was really nice in person. My pics dont do it justice since its in the back of the tank and kinda hard to get a pic of but has anyone ever seen one like this before?

Looks like a RBTA but with bright yellow tips. They told me it was a flame tipped RBTA

yeah, thats a RBTA, i dont kno about the flame tipped part but it could be possible.

It definitely has bright yellow tips on each bulb and they dont seem to be fading away. If anything, they seem a little brighter yellow than when i 1st bought it.

It is indeed a flame bta. Very beautiful one at that. What did you give for it if you don't mind me asking? Around here, they are $150+ on a small one.

This one is decent sized(the pic was when i 1st got it and it wasnt fully inflated), probably about 6" across. Not huge but not small imo,

I dont usually like telling what i paid but it was a little less expensive than what you said.

hmmn.. I have never heard of flame BTAs, but it will be interesting to see how that does for you. It is really pretty and I bet that the yellow looks a lot brighter in real life than in the picture. Good Luck!
