Flashing LED on 6055 power supply?

One of my 6055s has stopped running and the LED is flashing on its power supply. I cleaned it a few days ago. I opened it up this morning when I noticed it was stopped to check for blockage and found a couple of small snails inside. They were clear of the prop when I looked inside with a flashlight before disassembly so I would think the prop would have restarted after 20 seconds.

When you cleaned them did you remove the drive unit and check for debris in the rotor well, including any sand or calcium deposits between the shaft and rotor?

I thought I was thorough, but I will inspect it more closely when I get home from work. I got my pump back for my skimmer, thank you. I don't know what you did, but it works much, much better than before.

All that was wrong was the upper bearing and oring was missing, part 3000.610 and 3000.612.

Thanks again for the prompt service. It has already developed a nice head of foam in just a short time. You were correct about the cleaning. I failed to ream out where the shaft goes into the drive unit. After a little vinegar and pipe cleaner it is working like a champ.
