It occured to me today at the LFS that I have never met anyone who has kept them. I came home and googled them and can not find any keeping techniques at all. Am I right in assuming that these are fish that only Sea World and such should be keeping?

They are very low light fish and high amounts of light seem to stress them. i have had a few under T5's and they do ok but i have 3 bulbs on a 300gal tank so light isnt too intense. they hang in the overhangs during the day and school nicely i sold the ones i had because someone from a local store wanted them. for a true low light tank. so they went into a 180gal tank with a few no/flourescent bulbs on it. and they are doing great. picky eaters they are but like any fish given time they cmoe around.

I want to get a school of 3-4 for my 300 and there is nothing like glowing fish at night. its awesome.

wow.. Ive never seen Z. nebulosa for sale before- wheres your LFS?

Busan, South Korea

I once saw a tank full of Lethotremus Awae there. They look like little Japanimation characters. Great stuff here.

When I was walking through the aquarium district in Seoul last March they had a full grown leatherback sea turtle for sale... sad sight.
