I used this in a seahorse tank before and had no problems. It has an effect on the inverts though, but nothing that lasted. Pretty much all my corals closed up and shrimp hid out in back for a couple of hours. By the next morning everything was back to normal and it had decimated every flatworm in my tank. Make sure you run some carbon on your tank after a little while to remove the traces. Do a decent size water change soon after as well to get all the flatworm die-off.
