Flatworms

Sorry if I'm in the wrong section but I didn't really see where else this could go. I have gained a flatworm infestation. So I bought some flatworm exit and it works! It killed off most of the worms which is what I wanted, followed the directions and removed all my carbon, shut off the carbon reactor, and turned down my skimmer so it's running but not skimming.

My problem is that they keep coming back. I used it once per week and each time it would kill off most but not all. Then back they came. Anyone have any other solutions?

Acoela can be persistent. Reducing available nutrients via improved filtration and cleaning out detritus accumulations helps over time. Some wrasses and/or a synchiropus pictarus(psychedelic maderrinfish) are known to eat them .

Use care with the flatworm exit including siphoning out as many as you can beforehand and a heavy use fresh granulated activated after each use ,

Use the FWE at 1.5 the recommended dosage and repeat the treatment two more times 9total of three treatments) at 4 day intervals.

I started upping the dosage but don't think I got it to 1.5. I always siphon and use a reactor with carbon. And I use a power head to blow detritus out or at least a turkey baster. I'll try and bring it up to 1.5 and treat every 4 days and see if that kills the buggers. Thanks guys!
