flexible ribbed pond pipe to plumb sump?

Can I use the black flexible ribbed pond pipe like they have in the pond section at Lowe's to plumb my sump? If so, what is the best way to attach it? I have a hose barb and clamp, but because the pipe is fairly rigid and ribbed I don't know how well the clamp will really work. Should I use an adhesive, and if so what type?

i would not use it. mainly for flow issues, the ribs will slow the flow. use vinyl tubing. it will fit the barbed connections and stainless steel clamps. both can be found in the plumbing dept. REEF-ON!!!
