Floating Debris

My tank is a perfect cube. 48 X 48 X 30 Tall. I have a good amount of debris floating in the water column. I have never used filter socks but, I am going to buy a couple tomorrow. My question is, how can I get the debris back to the overflow? I am using four koralia 4 powerheads. I had them all on the back wall which was kinda cool but, I tried moving 2 of them towards the front to push the debris towards the overflow. What can I do about the debris?

Play with the flow until it "heards" it over there.

Slow down the water velocity and let it drop out of suspension....siphon out.
