Floating scape

Thinking of redoing my 150g tall. I have entirely too much rock I have discovered. I am considering trying a floating scape. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Has anyone done this or tried? Good results, bad. any suggestions on how to do.

Not fully sure what you mean by floating scape..
I personally like a natural look and well.. floating rocks isn't natural..
But its your tank not mine

not necessarily floating, but a ledge off of the back wall.
