Well guys, I've got good news and bad news.
The only algae they have left is the Gracilaria and the Ulva. They didn't know when they'd have any in stock, so I had them cancel the stuff that was out of stock.
Lisa, they no longer have the Nannochloris, so I had them swap it out for the Isocrysis so you can culture two types of phyto. If you don't want it, I'll take it, no worries.
They also then told me that the quote they gave me earlier this week was for 2-day shipping, not overnight (which is complete BS, because I specifically asked for an overnight quote). Now they tell me shipping is going to run in the $65 range. I'm having it sent regardless, because I need the rotifers. I won't expect you guys to pay any more than I originally quoted. They said they "thought they sent me an email" to tell me about the out of stock product. Again, if they did, I never got it, so I wonder...
Overall, I'm not very happy with the customer service from FAF. Actually, I'm rather unhappy and if they had have let me know all this stuff from the beginning, I would have looked for another supplier. As it is, I'm expecting the clown eggs to hatch tonight or tomorrow so I need the rotifers here. I don't think I'd ever order from them again...service has been pretty shoddy. You'd think things wouldn't be this difficult.
Time to start looking for another supplier for rotifers...hopefully I'll be able to grow my own and won't have to order them again.
