Florida Fighting Conch and Sand Depth

I'm looking to put a Florida Fighting Conch in my 165 gallon FOWLR to clean the sand bed. I have 1.5" of sand at the deepest part and there is a fairly large area at that depth. Is that deep enough or should I consider something else for sand cleaning?

That should be fine. I've got two with a sand bed that's even shallower than yours. They still seem able to cover themselves up enough to sleep.

1.5" of sand is fine. It's uncovered surface area that you want, no rocks. They graze a lot and push a good amount of sand. Generally any tank over 50 gallons and your good.

Yes, and to clarify, I've got two in a 60-gallon display and they've been going strong for several years. One of my favorite inverts.

Do you have a need to supplement their diet or are they finding enough to eat on their own? It would not be a problem to drop in a few pellets after the lights are off and the big eaters have settled down for the night.
