Flourescent hammer

I bought a hammer because it looked so unique due to fluorescent green tips. I am now wondering if the owner might have dyed the tips. Is that even possible?

Lighting greatly effects the florescent appearance the previous owner probably had a bluer bulb or actinic supplement i dont know if dying could be done but i highly doubt that is the case but who knows. Also did you see it in person or was it in a picture because a lot of sellers over saturate their pics to make them look better.

Not sure if it is a possiblity, but I have a hammer that has really green tips.

If some kind of dye was introduced to the water, then I would think the entire coral would be the same color, not just the tips.

no not possible to dye the tips. Lighting is most likely the reason for the change in color. the more blue spectrum in your light the more the coral tips will floresce...
