I have mine at mid tank level with medium flow. Here's a pic...

Position depends on light intensity. I usually keep mine mid tank to bottom using halides 175W (mid 10-12 " from light) 400W (bottom 12-24" from lights).
As for flow. Mine does best with either variable current to laminar flow. Low to moderate flow. And opens and looks best when current rises from below lifting the tentacles.
