Flow for a 75g mostly SPS

I need a little help here with choosing some powerheads for my 75g. The tank is currently a mixed reef whith some LPS. SPS and a few clams, but soon will be converted over to mostly SPS after I get my flow figured out.

First I dont like a lot of powerheads in the tank so I am aiming at only using 2 one in each corner.

The ones im looking at are possible the Koralia # 3 or # 4 but I have heard that these things are huge so I am leaning away from them.

My other choices are Tunze nanostream 6025 or 6045 will these provide enough flow, (I do not want to mod any pumps since the cost is high and dont want to void warranty).

Lasty would I be better off gettig one of the smaller Tunze turbelle stream such as the 6060.

Thanks for the help

:)

2 Tunze 6000's would be nice for a 75 SPS, but your LPS may not like them. They are a little big, but after you get used to them you hardly notice them.

I use the Seio pumps myself. If you get the medium sized one you can also get a controller for them if you wanted. They give a very high flow rate spread out in a cone shape instead of a very unnatural "jet". They are great.

I bought a Seio before and didnt like it that much mainly because it always gets stuck and wont start unless I take it apart.

The controller is nice, but not required. You can still dial the flow from 0-100%. You just can't pulse the flow without it. It can be always be added later. And the 6000's can also be upgraded to 6100's in the future, if you get a larger tank, for about $70 each.

I use two Koralia 3's on my 75g mixed tank. Mounted on the upper back wall in the corners and angled in they don't look very big and the flow they provide is excellent.

I have 2x6000 in a 56G running full blast. However, I have a lot of rock and SPS so the flow is just right for now. When the corals grow out some more, I have to consider upgrading to 6100s or add more PHs.
Another option is the Vortech pump. Low profile, powerful yet gentle flow, adjustable.
