Flow for a seahorse tank?

I'm getting ready to set up a 60 hex with a 55 sump for a few pairs of seahorses. I'd rather not have powerheads all over the tank, so I'd want all flow to come from the return. Can anyone suggest a good external return pump? I'll probably use locline in the tank to split the flow if it matters. TIA!

Above pumps are good suggestions. You might consider a "Quiet One" pump of the same gph - runs a little cooler and quieter in my experience.

The locline "Y" to distribute flow is a good idea, IMHO.

If you experience any dead zones, you may still need to think about a Koralia Nano powerhead - not too strong for adult seahorses... better than having cyano issues due to heavy feeding.

Koralia pumps are a nice thought except that some horses are not too discriminate about where they wrap/stick their tails. Its always better to be on the safe side. Depending on the size of your pump, You can can purchase a Y splitter for the flow and connect more locline to it so help divert the flow to other areas of the tank thus decreasing a blast coming from just one return spout. You can purchase all this from the manufacturer/distributor listed in the sponser section of RC.

Koralia pumps also come with a fish guard... no problems for seahorses. I have 4 Koralia in my 120G seahorse reef tank...never had an injury. In fact, the horses intentionally "play" in front of the pumps after they have eaten...quite entertaining.
