Flow for mixed reef

I have a 24g jbj and it turned into a mixed reef due to me liking every thing. I have a korilia nano in it now and was planning on doing either a wp25 mp10 or a k-1 suggestions are welcome

if you do a Mp10.... put it on reef crest.... however I had an MP40 and MP10 on reef crest in my 72 bow... things didnt like it till i put it in long pulse. But most peopel have good luck with reef crest

I think the mp10 is my second choice just because of price. The wp25 has me intrigued not only because of the price but the controllability

i have heard great things about the wp25. i just don't know what the setting for reef crest in the wp25 would be.

Depends on your pricepoint. MP10 (imo) is worth the price and although the WP25 specs are insane for it's price point (especially with the group buy!) there is nothing like a Vortech. It is the lowest profile powerhead thanks to the magnetic wet/dry side feature.

It's like getting a macbook or something. You can get another laptop just as powerful for way cheaper, but nothing has the exact apple feel or the proprietary software.

I have to agree on the MacBook and the Vortech's.... Vortech is worth the extra money and to me, the best piece of equipment to hit this hobby in 20 years! Of course you get what you can afford and the WP seems like a good alternative.

Now the PC people will be taking over this thread...

Not near as many of them these days!

Great analogy! I completely agree with this. I however am both a mac and PC owner (I had to build my own PCs while i was an engineering student at the U of A because mac didn't run the CAD programs i needed to use. But like bugs said you get what you can afford. I am tempted to buy one of those WP25s and try it out and see how they function.

I love my mp-10! I got it used at a great price over a year ago. And I've never had any problems with it.

I was one of the people that initially saw the price tag on an MP10 and never thought I would get one. I came across a good deal on a used one and now just a year later I have 3 of them.
