I am trying to figure out which streams to get for my new tank. I was looking at 2 tunze 6000 or 6100 with a controller, Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be better? Its going to be a mixed reef with all my sps near the top area of the tank? Thanks in advance for your help

I would get 2 6000's, if this isn't enough for you, you can always upgrade them to 6100's later.

The 6100 are to powerful for a 48" long tank. The ideal would be two opposing 6000 that would alternate from ful to to about 25% power. This is also what I'm looking for on my new system.

I had 2 6000's on the multi in my 120. . . wasn't really giving me the flow I needed, so I upgraded the transformers to the 6100's. . . better, but I still feel the need for more!!! And for reference, the 6100's go from 100% to 40% in interval 1 . . . have had no problems with sandstorms in my sandbed either.

I'm looking into possibly getting a wavebox now in addition to the streams . . .

Disclaimer: my tank is pretty much full of SPS corals . . . if it were a softies tank, then the 6100's would be WAY overkill:)

I got a wavebox and 1 6000 in mine. I ordered two more nano streams and would like to eventually add another 6100 down the road.
