flow for the fish

i have a 75 gal AGA and a korilia # 4 and #3. i got a 4.5 inch yellow tang that looks like he can't handle the flow. is this too much for him or is he still shy? had for about a week now... will this flow be to much for any other reef fish

It definitely shouldn't be too much for a yellow tang. Only very small delicate fish would possibly have trouble with this, although it seems doubtful IMO.

That's only 28x turnover. Most people with corals keep theirs at 30-40% (my tank is 25%). Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Doh...wasn't even thinking about the return pump. Mine is 25x total with 4 powerheads and my return pump.

So yours is probably quit a bit more than 28% but still...up to 40% should be fine.

I know sps keepers who have 80x turnover with no problems for the fish. The amount of flow fish experience on the reef is incomparable to the flow we replicate in our systems.
