flow in a 24 cube

I have a 24 cube that I want to set up for sps , will a maxi jet 400 be to much flow , in the flow config , 500 gph just seems like a lot of water
movement

and don't have the money right now for the better pumps

I have a Koralia 425 in a JBJ 28g nano. I don't think it has enough flow for SPS unless its directly in its path. I would look at the Koralia 600.
